Transfer Students
WHY ORIENTATION MATTERS
- Orientation is free for all students.
- You cannot register for classes until you complete orientation.
- Orientation prepares you by:
- Meeting with your advisor
- Registering for classes
- Reviewing your transfer credits
- Learning about campus resources
- Connecting with other new Miners
Important: You must enroll at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and attend classes for your orientation requirement to be considered complete.
If you attend orientation but do not enroll, and later decide to attend Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, you will need to re-attend orientation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND TRANSFER ORIENTATION?
- Students who enrolled at a college or university after high school and are now moving to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
- If you are completing an associate’s degree, you are still a transfer student.
- If you took only dual credit or Early College classes while in high school, you are a freshman, not a transfer.
